Comment: These headphones came up when I searched for "USB headset." They are not a USB headset. Beware. So I can't tell you how they work.

Comment: For the money this is a great pair of headsets. The mic works excellent and sounds come through on it pretty clear. I mainly use this headset to talk on my computer via skype. It works as advertised. I didn't expect too much out of them since they were relatively inexpensive, but I'm very happy with them. My only complaint is the comfort, they don't feel bad until you've worn them for about an hour. After that they kind of start hurting the ears. Other than that...good to go, I would recommend them.

Summary: The Mic Wouldn't Work...
Comment: This is a good headset and for the longest time I didn't need to use the mic BUT when I did (several months after I had bought it) it just would not work. I was very disappointed because I didn't expect for a technically brand new mic not to work.

Summary: For use as a phone headset, this is the way to go
Comment: I have tried all the so called phone headsets available out there and have been disappointed by all of them. Their sound quality is never up to par and I usually have trouble having the other person on the line hear me due to the microphone being way up by my ear. Cyber-Acoustics has none of these problems, the sound quality thanks to dual ear phones which are very well padded, I get not only great sound, but the padding helps muffle out and background noises. As far as the mic, it is a boom mic so it is right there by your mouth and I find I am no longer having to raise my voice or have the volume of my phone set all the way up. Before you buy a regular phone headset, take the time to buy the adapter required to change this to a 2.5mm jack and try this gaming headset. You will never go back to a regular one again.
