Summary: What a Peice of Junk!
Comment: Wow. Easy to load, but doesn't work. It was so cheap I thought it might be worth the gamble. I lost (I really should know better by now!). Anyway, I loaded it, tried to run it but it was SUPER BUGGIE! Wholly cow! It couldn't even display all of the main menu. We had to guess where selections might be on screen in order to click and select a section! Impossible to use. I came across Typing Instructor Platinum at Target for under $20 and it came with a $10 rebate. When I have time, I'll install it and see how it works. Meanwhile, like another reviewer said, 'I don't know why Amazon continues to sell this [defective] product." Don't wast your time or money on this Mavis Beacon ... 18 product!

Comment: I have used this product for a couple weeks now and I have increased my words per minute (WPM) from about 35 to 45. So I've been fairly impressed thus far. The typing games are geared toward little kids and the music is very redundant, but overall, the program works just fine.

Comment: The copy I received was flawed. It could never go past the "ty" lesson even though I tried using several players' names. I read several other reviews afterwards and noted that other buyers had technical problems as well. I would suggest you buy this where you can easily return it. I ended up buying another brand at a local store. (Wish I could have given it a no-star rating but the lowest I could give was one star. Doesn't deserve even that when the product is faulty.)

Comment: This product is easy and fun to use. The games are fun and really keep you intereted in learning more. You learn to type very quickly with this. I haven't finished it yet, but so far it is an excellent teaching tool. Once you have learned all the lessons, then you start building on speed.
