Summary: I LIKE this program!
Comment: This is my third review of this product, each on a subsequent upgrade. I find MS Streets and Trips to be fun to use, with a short learning curve and intuitive tools. It's not too fancy and while I find that some maps are out of date (Las Vegas for example) it's great for quick planning and on the fly road revisions while traveling. I have a Garmin and the mapping software that goes along with it (pricey!!!) as well as Google maps and a GPS on my Droid but when it comes to planning a trip I prefer using this on my laptop because it's FUN! If you are new to these types of programs or just want something simple for use on the road. This is it. I look forward to my upcoming trip to UCLA, my daughter will be the driver and me and MS Streets and Trips 2010 will be the navigator -- whoo hoo!

Summary: Portable mapping
Comment: I've used MS S&T for several releases. I don't use a GPS, so this is an excellent alternative. I prefer it to online mapping and GPS because of the quality of processes for shifting routes around, finding nearby places and services, printing maps prior to a trip and general friendly usage. This product seems to work very well for my travel needs, though I understand the preference is shifting to GPS-based travel. This product interfaces to a GPS and works well, I'm sure that would be a good enhancement if I felt the need for additional real-time information.

Comment: Great program which has been my main travel package since before microsoft took it over.
My main complaint is that there is no way to prepare a long trip based on a daily itinery.
ie. If you want to stop in specified places for the night you have to plan it on a daily basis.
The software does not allow for overnight stays when planning the total trip. There ought to be
some way of planning for each leg without separating into individual panels.

Comment: I had Streets and Trips 2007 and upgraded to the Streets and Trips 2010. I prefer this program over most similar programs.
I find it is very accurate, more so than MapQuest. I also have a Garmin GPS that I can use with the Streets and Trips right along with my laptop.

Summary: MS Streets & Trips
Comment: the software arrived on time and in very good condtion. My old s/w would not work on Windows7 so I had to find a replacement. This does about 90% of what my old software did, but it also has more features that I have not fully used yet. I find it very handy for planning trips.
